Diane Bender

Diane, Store Manager, has more than 15 years of experience working with cancer patients to improve their quality of life as they go through treatment. She has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1979, with advanced certification in dermatological skincare and menopausal and hormonal dysfunctions. After her breast cancer diagnosis in 1993 at the age of 34, Diane used her experience to enhance her advocacy skills, completing her bachelor's degree in communications. Diane enjoys educating local and national audiences about importance of early diagnosis and her experience as a survivor. Diane currently is a Consultant for the U.S. Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program. She is also a member of the Kansas Comprehensive Cancer Partnership, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment Early Detection Works advisory committee, as well as Shawnee Mission Medical Center's Breast Center Community Advisory Committee. She has received numerous awards for her advocacy and program development.

Marci Klein

Marci Klein is a trained breast prostheses and mastectomy bra fitter since 1987. Klein became BOC Certified in Orthotics and Mastectomy in 1996. She also fits compression sleeves and gauntlets or gloves for lymphadema patients.
